Terms of Service
Last updated 30 August 2026. These terms are between you and Nikah AI Ltd and govern your use of Cognivault. They describe the product as built; they are not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before publication.
The service
Cognivault is a team decision workspace. It lets you record decision briefs and their sources, build a reasoning profile, keep a versioned operating-memory record store, log outcome reviews, and ask questions against that recorded context.
AI output is assistance, not advice
The Ask and Decision Brief analysis features send your workspace context to a third-party language model and return a generated summary. Model output can be wrong, incomplete or confidently mistaken. It is not professional, legal, financial or safety advice, and every decision you take remains yours. Where no model is configured, the product returns a deterministic summary of your own records instead, labelled as such in the response.
Your account
You must be 16 or over and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of your sign-in credentials. Workspace owners are responsible for who they invite and for what their members can see.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into a workspace. You grant Nikah AI Ltd only the permission needed to host, process and display that content in order to run the service for you, including sending relevant excerpts to the model provider named in the privacy policy when you use an analysis feature.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you have no right to share, use the service to break the law, attempt to access another customer’s workspace, probe or overload the infrastructure, or resell access without agreement.
Paid plans
Prices, billing periods, renewal and cancellation are set out in the billing terms, which form part of these terms.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Cognivault at any time and can delete your account yourself from the account deletion page, which explains exactly what is removed. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Availability, warranties and liability
The service is provided as-is and no uptime commitment is offered on these public terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the limitations of liability that apply are Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded..
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by England and Wales. Questions go to support@cognivault-ai.com.
